Kuon Omakase

Kuon Omakase’s “modern Japanese Edomae sushi” is a further evolution of “how to enjoy sushi”.

A style of hospitality unique to Kuon.
Based on the basic principles of “Fresh & Aged Eclectic” and “Fusion of East and West,” aged sushi is served with sake.
Contrast of light and shade with sushi made from fresh fish caught off the coast of Australia.
The point is to simmer, steam, bake, finish with vinegar, etc.

Sushi Sei offers an intimate Tokyo-style sushi and omakase counter experience in Haymarket, Sydney.

From seasonal nigiri to our signature omakase course, each menu is prepared with Japanese technique, carefully selected seafood and a focus on freshness, texture and umami.

 

 

Courses

Sushi Sei The Omakase — $230

Our signature omakase experience, crafted around premium seasonal seafood, refined Japanese technique and luxury ingredients.

Duration: 90 minutes

En Sushi Kaiseki — $150

A balanced course featuring seasonal appetisers, warm dishes, sashimi, sushi, hand roll, soup and dessert.

Duration: 75 minutes

Yui Nigiri Experience — $120

A focused nigiri course featuring seasonal sashimi, chef-selected sushi, hand roll, soup and dessert.

Duration: 75 minutes

 

 

About Sushi Sei

Since 2019, Sushi Sei has been serving Tokyo-style sushi and seasonal Japanese ingredients with exceptional quality and value.

At our counter, guests can enjoy a casual yet refined sushi experience, interact with our chefs and enjoy carefully selected seafood sourced from Australia and Japan.

Our daily selection may feature more than 35 kinds of seasonal seafood, prepared and served by Executive Chef Shinji Ishikawa and the Sushi Sei team.

Bookings are released from 12:00pm on the first Tuesday of each month.

Seats are limited, so we recommend booking early to secure your preferred date and session.
